I saw one of my FB friends posted about the 10 behaviors of genuine people, i felt all of the sudden to repost it this time in my blog. For the record.
In case you're wondering, genuine means actual, real, sincere, honest. Genuine people are more or less the same on the inside as their behavior is on the outside. Unfortunately, it's a tough quality to discern. The problem is that all human interactions are relative. They’re all a function of how we perceive each other through our own subjective lenses.
1. They don't seek attention
2. They can tell if others are full of it. (genuine are not naive)
3. They are not concerned of being like. (confident and authentic people are simply themselves)
4. They do what they say, and say what they mean. (They don’t tend to overreach or exaggerate. They meet their commitments. )
5. They don't need a lot of stuff. (You find happiness in the simple things.)
6. Not easily offended
7. They're consistent.
Genuine people see themselves as others would if they were objective observers.
